Since last year, the System Seals organisation in Germany and Austria has been benefiting from the addition of a number of young apprentices keen to make their mark in the seals business.

Under the programme, apprentices have a training contract and receive training according to an occupational profile, defined by an in-company training curriculum complemented by a school syllabus for theoretical instruction. Apprenticeships last 3 years.

Finn Alfeis, Finn-Eric Bast and Celina Tinko are the first recruits into the company’s apprenticeship programme, which extends to multiple areas within the organisation. Both Finns are training in Internal Sales in Hamburg in Germany, while Celina Tinko is in Production in our Plastoseal facility in Austria.

The first taste of the workplace for Finn Alfeis has been a positive one: “I am proud to be the first apprentice at System Seals GmbH, where I began my journey in August of last year. Since joining, I have really enjoyed the work environment, the projects, and the opportunity to grow within the organisation. I am looking forward for my next steps here in the company.”

“Our programme is a key pillar of the talent strategy within System Seals and one we plan to invest in in coming years,” explains Sean Hensey, Managing Director, System Seals Europe. “In today’s challenging marketplace, we see it as a potential differentiator that can futureproof our ever-growing business.”

The apprentice programme in Germany and Austria is a tangible expression of the company’s core value of “striving for excellence – motivated to learn and grow”.
